(This post is also a follow up to the first post on dis-ease and energy)

Just the other day, I found myself in a unique position.

A close family friend had asked for a healing on a long standing shoulder problem. I was more than happy to oblige, what more as this would be my first shoulder healing and I could use the experience.

As he explained the fall he once had, I began to get an idea how I was to approach this healing because it involved the joint, muscle and nerve that required work. An initial scan of the aura indicated the specific area was in fact, troubled.

“It is going to take awhile for this” I thought, and indeed, it did.

After doing the session with the relevant cleansing and healing procedures, I re-scanned his aura and found it down to the healthy size. Concluding that I had done my job, I proceeded to ask him how he was feeling.

His response “Nope, no difference. It’s still hurting!”

I was shocked. The aura shows one reading, the patient tells another. Now either the patient is lying or there’s something that wasn’t addressed in the healing. An auric re-scan showed health level. Even whipping out my special RoK pendulum made of tissue and thread showed the chakra was rotating in the right direction (I make no bones that I can at times be El Cheapo). So what was the problem here?

Then it hit me – Emotions. I re-scanned the aura again, this time specifically the emotional aura, and there it was, the diseased energy that was plaguing the patient. It was strong, it was for certain high and it was definitely the reason for the pain in his shoulder.

I’m starting to see a lot of this now. People who come for healing on a physical ailment only to find the cause isn’t so much in the physical, but is rooted in the emotional aura. This is a telling statement for spiritualists who can understand it.

The emotional aura, in a nutshell is akin to the *normal* aura of a person. (I use normal descriptively) However, instead of showing the persons energy level, emotional aura is a reflection of a subject’s emotional energy/emotional state. It’s about the same level as the normal aura at its healthiest.

As a rule, Pranic Healers use the normal aura as a baseline comparison when it comes to Emotional Aura. Usually, it’s the same level as the normal aura indicating all is fine.

However the good, problems in the emotions can be a stealthy little critter. Just like in this case where a scan on the normal aura indicated the green light, the problem was lying hidden in the emotions going by undetected. Had it not been for the patient not informing of any change, I wouldn’t have thought to look there.

What I questioned was – Why was it causing the shoulder pain? Just as I asked, the answer hit – Emotion(s) are energy.

After the ton of realization brick had fallen, I began to get a birds eye view of what all this is actually about.

As it stands, emotions, I think, is a form of energy in us. Many call it Energy in Motion as it suits them best. But what I now see is something very very different.

Emotion Energy has properties.

In short, it carries its own energy signature, has a strong or weak frequency, starts off without a charge but overtime develops into either a positive or negative state. If that charge isn’t in congruent with our body aura, then eventually the body attracts events that will befall it or manifests the energy as a physical problem.

Neck problems and knee problems are now prime indicators for me to check on the emotions. In nearly all cases, it has been the jackpot. Knee problems is the work of inflexibility - usually because of some event that took place in ones life the person hasn’t move forward (bending to move forward). Neck problems is also the handywork of inflexibility – the unwillingness to see both sides of an issue.

Another example I’ve been testing is headaches – An issue in presently in your life your fighting or don’t want to accept.

For as wild as this may sound, its not news for anyone in the spiritual industry. True blue spiritualist will oftentimes be heard saying how all things is energy and emotions are just part of that equation.

This has lead to the rise of what is called psychosomatic. The art of physical ailment diagnosis using emotions as the counterpoint instead of MRI’s and X-Rays.

A very good example of psychosomatic is in the book Your can Heal Your Life by Louis Hay. This best seller spiritual book lists out a truckload of problems and their emotional root. The diagnosis above is from this book. It has been *the book* most true spiritualist will already have in their possession. Possibly under lock and key.

As for the family friend, after the re-scan, I swept his negative emotional energy away and healed that place. Because of the strong charge of the emotion, it came back after a day. But the great news was, when it did come back, it was weaker than before that even he noticed. Which means, the healing work. (Yes, it was a self plug)

At least, he’s feeling better and happier for it.

Pranic Diaries - When change happens.....

Oh boy, this column is longgg overdue for an update. And with good reason too.

Let me explain from the beginning. When I first started this column, I was on track to being a Pranic Healer under a different school (which I shall not name to show respect). Back then, it was a 9 month program which promised some stuff at the end.

At the 8 and a ½ mark point, I realised I was no where different than when I had started. When I spoke to them, they instead suggested I take another somewhat corresponding course in order to finish this course.

What ensued were my attempts to get a refund. My Master was disappointed but understanding. The others who heard about, well, judged from what they heard.

And so I left that school and gave all hope of doing Pranic Healing or any other form of Energy Healing modality.

God however, had other plans. The path He beat for me was one directly towards…. GMCKS Pranic Healing. All this was happening despite my initial reluctance and even at some point, sense of defensiveness that I might be walking into yet another mistake.

But He knew, and provided me all the answers. It was me against Providence; the latter had won. Yep folks, today after going through the school, I am now First Level Pranic Healer.

I tell you, the way these things work out is mind boggling. Almost as if I was required to throw my line into the seas of oblivion; to then have the fish come.

I don’t want to list out what I can do now, that’s bragging. But I will talk about them in this column and how it helps you down the line.

Somehow, I foresee the Pranic Diaries is going to move in another direction. I’m not sure what that means but its ok. It will work out in the end.

PS to All: The picture above is Grandmaster Choa Kok Sui, who is responsible for the teachings.

The Pranic Diaries - The source of all Healing

I’m happy to note that my Pranic Healing classes has finally hit the Channeling topic. By that I actually mean learning how to tap into the Universal Energies then redirect them to the palms for a session. (bet you thought I meant channeling entities…but blah..I didn’t)

This is the cream of the entire 9 month course; the one I’ve waited for since day one – Moving the Energy.

In Pranic Healing, I’m thought to connect to the Universe or Maha-Prana first before I can, in a manner of speaking, begin to connect with the subtle Pranic Energies. For those who know, it’s connect then flow.

Connect to the Energies. And then flow it.

It’s standard modus operandi for all, where you’re taught to connect to the Energies/Universe/It because through them comes the healing.

But for the longest time, I’ve wondered just where “It” comes from; the healing energies. And it’s not just me who asks this question. People in general too, be them practitioners or non.

With the number of practitioners increasing, as a result the number of people having done a “session” also increasing, it is slowly moving to mainstream. I speak at least in Malaysian context. I know it’s achieved some degree of acceptance in US and England.

Which as conclusion means you’re bound to run into someone who’s going to say “I had a session with a (insert modality) practitioner. I’m completely healed now!”. The usual story of a persisting problem discharged by the hospital that disappeared after just a few sessions.

So, what really happens?

How does it work?

In Reiki, it’s connecting to spirits existing around us, in Pranic Healing it the Maha-Prana, The Reconnection the Universe and so on forth.

It’s a little tough to accept some of these explanations. And knowing me, I’d down right just laugh. ( I can’t help it.. :))

However, when you consider that people actually do get healed coming out of these sessions, there is something at work. Something moving, only we can’t see it.

Well, the answer to this comes from Dr. Eric Pearl, Stewart (originator?) of the well known The Reconnection modality.

After his healing ritual with a gypsy, he realized a mysterious ability to heal people without touching. In his quest for answers, he conducted one laboratory test that would shed some light on the nature of healing.

I reproduce this from his book, The Reconnection
“Back at the University of Arizona, under the direction of Dr. Gary Schwartz, research was now underway. We were conducting a number of experiments intended to impart further insight into the nature and scope of this work. One of these experiments involved measuring the level of gamma radiation in an enclosed room where we were working with the reconnective energy. Some of the researchers and participants had attended my seminar that weekend. When I told them, “Remember, you’re not sending, you receiving,” they didn’t what I meant.

“How do you get a healing from here to there if you don’t send it?” they asked.

I replied scientifically: “I don’t know.”

Typically, as the number of people and the amount of activity in a given enclosed space increases, so does the level of gamma radiation. The researches were trying to see if there was a measurable difference between the gamma radiation level in the room when we were bringing in the reconnective frequencies compared to what was present otherwise.

Later while the researchers were analyzing the data, I got a call from them. “Well you won’t believe this one,” they said. “ The gamma radiation detectors registered a significant drop in gamma levels” in the presence of the reconnective energies.

What they took that to mean – and this is a tentative hypothesis – is that while people are using reconnective energy, something is actually being absorbed. They’re receiving energy, not sending it.”

If it is in fact tentative, then it is also true from the teachings of healing that when you go in for a healing session, something is moving and there is something happening.

Which would mean, there’s a lot more to Energy Healing than meets the eye. When broken bones mend, then a healing is definitely taking place.

I have to say, for a Pranic Healer to be, that’s an enticing prospect.

This ends the entry at this time.

The Pranic Diaries – A Beginning

For the last few weeks since my hiatus, I’ve had a nagging voice from my gut to document my journey as a Pranic Healer To Be (I actually mean in training, but To Be sounded better. Cooler too). Anyone with sufficient experience on intuition aka messages from the Gut, will tell you that when you’ve been told to “Do it”, you’d better.

So I have. I'm calling this The Pranic Diaries. (Thankfully, no more nagging)

One interesting phenomenon I have come to observe about this industry is – The healing energies (any modality) will, at some point, bring about some degree of enlightenment for the Healer in course of his/hers training and/or healing. I'm not sure how (yet?), but hopefully that's something that will get answered in the course of my journey.

This column will be closely tied to the Energy Healing column I started awhile back which aims to highlight different modalities in the market. The difference being with the Diaries, I will be doing my exploration from an inside-out perspective, as opposed to the outer-in approach of the other column.

So to start things off, it would be best to start at the beginning. To that end, I thought I'd talk about Pranic Healing.

The term Pranic, I'm sure everyone is aware, is a verb of the word Prana. This is the latent healing energy inside all of us. Yoga practitioners and/or Instructors would feel right at home with this term as the aim of their yoga sessions is to activate the latent, dormant Pranic Energies in the body.

Pranic Healing originally taught by the ancient Hindu Tantra scriptures, is the conscious “at will” manipulation of this dormant energy (activated by then) to not only energize and heal ones selves, but others as well. Even over distances.

Scripturally, we are all said to be born with Prana in us. However, in the absence of a Tantra scripture for a deeper explanation at the time of this writing, I shall quote my Master in regards to a deeper understanding of healing via Prana "…..is a science or system which concentrates upon what is called Shakti, the energy principle. In tantra, it is said that in order to expand consciousness, we have to first awaken this energy to illuminate Shiva (consciousness)".

What’s a safe bet that whole illuminating consciousness is the answer to the enlightenmnet mystery above?

Outside India Prana is known by many other names – Bioplasmic Energy, Ki (Japanese), Mana (Persian) and more famously, Chi.

Just to note that Pranic Healing I speak of this is not the same as the Pranic Healing taught by the late Master Choa Kok Sui. Not entirely. Regarded as the modern founder of Pranic Healing, his version is modified somewhat to include other elements.

The origin of his teachings, mine as well, is the scriptures one and the same.

In a nutshell *there it is* as many would say. I begin my foray in the world of healers and universal energies. I can’t say for sure what lessons are ahead of me as I go on to unfold, but for certain I look to learn from them.

This ends the entry at this time.
